After my program, I was inspired to recreate a character from an animated series I had seen. Kyouko will be featured in the version of my demo reel, coming soon.

For my student demo reel, I revised the character model I made earlier on in the year, after having learned much about Subsurface shading, nHair, and other refinements.

Created for a 4-week assignment, I designed and modelled Jaylene. Living in the near-future, Jaylene is asymmetrically equipped with a Cybernetic arm.

Despite my preference for environments, I cannot deny the value of character modelling. After all, characters are how we relate to a story. I practice character modelling almost as much as I do environments.
